Privacy Policy

What Bible Conquest collects, why, and what control you have over it — written in plain language, not legalese.

🔎 In short

✓

You can play without an account. Your progress stays only on your phone — it never reaches us.

✓

We don't sell data. The native app shows ads via Google AdMob — you can opt out of personalized ones — but we never sell or rent your game data to anyone.

✓

An account is optional. Only needed for the leaderboard or playing across devices — just an email.

✓

You can delete everything. Any time, with a single message to us.

01Who we are

Bible Conquest is a Bible-quiz game made by EdwaVisuals. This policy applies to the app wherever you play it — in a browser, as an installed web app, or as the native iOS/Android app.

02What we collect

We collect only what the app actually needs to work. Here's exactly what, and why:

Data Why Account needed?
Email address To sign you in and recover your account on a new device Yes
Display name, avatar, rank For the leaderboard and multiplayer mode Yes
Game progress (XP, levels, achievements) To sync your progress across devices Yes*
Crash/error reports To fix bugs — may include a technical error message, never personal content No
Device advertising identifier Native app only, to show/measure ads via Google AdMob — collected by Google's own SDK, never reaches our servers No

* Without an account, progress is saved automatically only on your own phone — see the next section.

We never collect or ask for: phone number, home address, payment details, precise location, or access to your contacts/camera/microphone.

03Playing without an account

Signing in is entirely optional. Without an account, all your progress — level, coins, achievements, stats — is saved locally, directly on your device, using the browser's or app's own storage. We never send this data to our servers. If you uninstall the app or clear browser data, that progress is gone for good — we don't hold a copy.

04Third-party services we rely on

We don't run our own server infrastructure — we use a small number of trusted providers, each with a clear, limited role:

Supabase — accounts, database, multiplayer Sentry — error reports Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — optional sign-in Google AdMob — ads (native app only) Vercel — website hosting

If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, that provider only sees that you're signing into Bible Conquest — it has no access to your game progress. The native app (iOS/Android) shows ads via Google AdMob between levels and at the end of a multiplayer match; on iOS we explicitly ask your permission before AdMob can show personalized ads (you can decline — you'll still see ads, just not personalized ones). We don't sell or rent your game data to third parties for marketing.

05How we use your data

We never use your game progress, name, or email for personalized advertising or profiling. We never make automated decisions that affect you based on your data.

06Data retention

Account data is kept for as long as your account exists. Error reports are kept for at most 90 days, then automatically deleted. If you delete your account, associated data is removed from our primary systems within 30 days.

07Your rights

Wherever you live, you have the right to:

For any of these, write to us at the address below — we respond within 30 days.

08Children

Bible Conquest's content is suitable for all ages, but it isn't specifically directed at children under 13, and we never ask for age at sign-up. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 without a parent's consent. Playing without an account (see section 3) is the safest option for a child playing — no data ever leaves the device. A parent who believes a child created an account can write to us any time for deletion.

09Security

Account data is hosted by Supabase, access-restricted with row-level security — in practice, your account can only read and write its own data, never another player's. Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). No security measure is perfect, but we treat your data with the same care we'd want our own treated with.

10Changes to this policy

If we change something material — for example, a new type of data collected — we update the date above and, if the change is significant, notify you directly inside the app.
